The answer of Bro. Ely were as follows:
1. DEATH IS SOMETHING THAT WE CAN NOT AVOID.
From Hebrew 9:27 "And it was appointed unto men once to die, but after this judgment." Man is destined to die, and we can't avoid this. All living things including men will die. And after this we shall be judged.
2. Man can not overcome the power of God
Ecclesiastes 8:8 " There is no men that hath power over spirit that hath power over spirit; neither hath he power in the day of the death."
We have to accept the inevitability of death. Death according to Steve Jobs in his speech at Stanford, is one of the invention of God and the Universe. The old dies and is replaced by new. Death gives way to new life
3. We should accept death, judgement and promise of everlasting life.
1 John 2:25. "And that is the promise that he hath promised us ever, eternal life"
We fear not death even if it is inevitable for there will be everlasting life after judgement. Death may be painful and ugly for many of us. But in view of the above readings in the scriptures, never should we fear or abhor death. We see death in a better light. And because we know it, the more we should accept and prepare for this as we welcome memorial products and services
Death is real, no one can avoid that. Lahat ng tao may nakatakdang oras ng kanyang kamatayan sa ayaw man o sa gusto natin ay mangyayari at mangyayari yan sa ating lahat. Kahit sino mang mga taong makapangyarihan tulad nila buddha o mga matatalinong tao sa buong mundo ay may hangganan dahil nga walang sino mang makakapantay sa Diyos na siyang nagbigay ng ating hininga at siya lang din ang makakabawi nito.Ang kamatayan ay isang malaking regalo ng Diyos kapag ikaw ay isang mananampalataya at sumusunod sa Salita ng Diyos thru BIBLE at hindi kuro-kuro lamang dahila ang kamatayan ay isang tagumpay! ika nga sa Revelation, wala ng hirap,sakit, pagnanangis, pagtitiis at poblema...kundi itoy pawang tunay na kagalakan kapag ikaw ay naroon o napunta sa kaharian ng May-Kapal ngunit itoy isang pagdurusa kapag ikaw ay napunta sa nagngingit na apoy ng imperno dahil sa mga lihim at di pagsisisi sa iyong mga kasalanang nagawa, batas ng tao ay batas din ng Diyos...
ReplyDeleteAng pangako ng Panginoon ay kaniyang tutuparin dahil hindi nanlilinlang ang Panginoon, kung itoy tinutupad din natin ang kanyang mga utos at salita sa biblya. Kayat hanggat nabubuhay o may hininga pa tayo ay matuto tayong pag-sisihan at ibunyag ang ating mga natatagong lihim upang tayoy makalaya sa kasalanang ating nagawa mula sa ating pamilya, kaibigan, kapatid at sa ating trabaho. We must repent and obey Gods Word.
