Unusual burial practices at Kali River in HImalayas

Getting higher and stronger

It was featured at Discovery Channel in at Monster Fish  featuring Jeremy Wade that fish in Kali river in Himalayas grow to unusual size because of an unusual practice.  The dead are cremated along the river banks of Kali river and are dumped half burned for the creatures in the river to feed on.

Thus the catfish or whatever fish has rich nutrition.  The fish exceeds the size of man and some are known to be cattle and man eaters. (as per stories)

No wonder, they do not have cemeteries or burial sites.

Natural eh.
