Air Pollution Kills

Holy Gardens Memorial Park - A Special Place where our Loved Ones are Remembered in a Special Way

From Metro Manila Air Pollution Watch | April 10, 2013

It is our desire at Holy Gardens for our customers to live long and healthy, contrary to the usual belief.  We have made a link to this site so that they may avoid exposure to air pollution.   Deaths from air pollution has risen from 2007 at 2 million to 6 million last year according to WHO.  Air pollution has been linked to cause Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases (like asthma and bronchitis) cancer, and heart diseases.

What is more dangerous is the exposure to the small particulate, known as PM 2.5, 30x smaller than human air.  They can be lodged in the lungs and cause permanent inflammation and or attach to the blood vessels and be carried to the heart also causing inflammation, heart attack and death.

PM 2.5 safe level is 10; max is 25.  in Beijing last January l5, this reached 991.  The invisible pollution more dangerous

Be careful of air pollution and help support campaign vs smoke belching and air pollution.

Air pollution kills.
