Cremation on the rise

Holy Gardens Memorial Park - A Special Place for Remembering Loved Ones

From Philstar

Officers of two leading and oldest memorial parks in the country sees growing trend in cremation as the preferred way to go.  6 out of 10 deceased now prefer the cremation way, instead of the usual/traditional burial.  The primary reason is that it is cheap.  Direct cremation is the cheapest form of memorialization.   Costs can be kept well below P20t vs. P50t with casket, wake, and 5 year lease in municipal or Catholic cemeteries.

Most funeral parlors now have crematorium.  They are quick and fast and cheap;  use two burners and diesel and are clean burning and non polluting.

Holy Gardens Memorial Park have one such machine as early as 2008 and offered one of the cheapest at 18t/remains.  We look forward to having one in La Union, Pangasinan, and Calamba Holy Gardens.
