Feeding Program at Tagbac elementary school in Oton, Iloilo

Holy Gardens Memorial Park - A Special Place for Remembering Loved Ones
Ms Emma Caballero, Head Teacher of Tagbac Elem School a school teacher and our Homer Orca

The Holy Gardens Memorial Park in Oton conducted a feeding program for Tagbac Elementary School in Tagbac, Oton. The idea of feeding program is that most of the elementary school children are nutrition challenged. Ms Caballero solves that further by having lunch cooked by their Home Economics department from their produce.

Holy Gardens does that by sponsoring a snack for children in the morning.

The feeding program covered some 100 students for grade 4,5,6.  The school is headed by Ms. Emma Caballero who advocates teaching organic farming to students after school hours, and to farmers.  Now she has made a difference.

Her school children has won in many provincial and division contests.  And they even a quiz bee winner.

Her schoolchildren did a demo cooking at SM where they showcased the many benefits of watermelon, the prime produce of Oton

Her school is visited by many local and foreign institutions engaged in alternative medicine, agriculture, food production/processing
