I joined the 80th birthday celebration of a joint venture partner. It was held last Saturday at Century Park Sheraton (near Harrison Plaza) The traffic was horrible but I was glad that I made it before the start of the ceremonies. They were still taking picture with the husband and wife team when I arrived at 12:30
His friends, relatives, and former classmates at UP Class 56 College of Engineering were there (at least those who were surviving. What is admireable is the sharp memory of the celebrant. His classmates who delivered the speeches said that our partner was gifted with a camera; now he is gifted with a photographic memory. He remember names and events very vividly
The coupe even introduced this office to the guests (ie as JV partner for a memorial park project in Calapan). This is certainly is a source of pride and that we must do better.
