Fr. Jerry Orbos concelebrates mass at Marian Hill shrine/chapel

Holy Gardens Memorial Park -

I attended the concelebrated mass of Fr. Jerry Orbos at the Marian Hills shrine at the top of San Carlos Heights subdivision in Tayuman, Binangonan, Rizal.  It was a celebration of the 1st anniversary of the founding of the shrine.  The place used to be resort but was converted into a prayer, meditation area.  There is portion for 3 o clock prayer, meditation, way of the cross, prayer for the rosaries (various mysteries)

Significant images statues include that of Virgin Mary, St. Michael the Archangel, the ten Commandments, Nativity, Pieta, Holy Family.  Toti conceptualized this and done mostly by Angono Artists.

The mass was attended by the Juan family, residents of Barangay San Carlos, and the other faithful.  The concelebrators were the vice parish priest of Angono, the parish priest of Sacred Heart parish in Tayuman and his vice priest.  Was I glad I have been part of the celebration.  I invited myself.

We went on a hike to San Carlos Hts. at Tayuman, Binangonan, Rizal.  We found out at the peak, that  today, October 13 is the 1st anniversary of the Marian Shrine.

The Marian shrine consist of:

l.  Chapel

2.  Way of the cross;

3.  The Rosary,

4.  The Holy Family

5.  Image of Jesus Christ,

6.  St Michael the Archangel.

The sponsor of the multi million project is Ms. Juan. of San Carlos Hts.

Admission is free.

The anniversary will feature a concelebrated mass to be led by Fr. Orbos and 3 other priests.

This is a good concept for the unusable portion of Holy Gardens Calamba.
